Anvil of Bogardan One usual piece of advice to rookies is to read the card to know what it does, but it would be misguided here: Anvil of Bogardan used to say each player skips their discard phase but has received errata to say Players have no maximum hand size. A bit of a Howling Mine with its group hug effect and great in discard-heavy decks, Anvil of Bogardans current popularity is marred by its steep price: Being a Reserved List card and having seen no reprints since Visions , it carries a hefty pricetag
It's quite modular, so if I added another provider in the future, like Shopify, it would just be another option in the list
The unique requirements of Commander make traditional organization methods less effective
FWIW it's easier to find an Aura than it is an Instant/Sorcery in Boros (Sunforger is a bad card IMHO, but some people swear by it)
Those cards may include a land card, creatures, artifacts, instants and other spells, which each have different rules related to their use
Of course, you dont have to just wait for other people to kill your creatures, you can also use the Bastion offensively
